Certain federal laws prohibit the destruction of certain documents. Not-for-profit organizations should have a written, mandatory document retention and periodic destruction policy. Policies such as this will eliminate accidental or innocent destruction.

The purpose of the Donation Policy is to explain what items Operation Breakthrough is graciously able to accept, what items are a priority for the organization and what items we can not accept. 

Operation Breakthrough places a high value on its donors and donor relationships.  The Donor Information Policies and Procedures describe how Operation Breakthrough handles donor information and solicitation.

The Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Operation Breakthrough collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the Operation Breakthrough website.

The purpose of the conflicts of interest policy is to protect Operation Breakthrough, Inc.’s interest when it is contemplating entering into a transaction or arrangement that might benefit the private interest of an officer or director of Operation Breakthrough, Inc. 

The Whistleblower Policy is intended to encourage and enable employees and others to raise serious concerns within Operation Breakthrough prior to seeking resolution outside Operation Breakthrough.

The Fundraising Event Policy explains how Operation Breakthrough will affiliate with fundraising activities, how its name and logo may be used, and how these activities may involve its employees, donors, and the people it serves.
