Summer Teaching Opportunities At Operation Breakthrough!
Make a difference this summer during an 8+week session and earn great pay! We are looking for those who want to work with school-age children (K-8) on STEM inspired programs in a highly creative, supportive environment.
We are looking for:
- Summer School Teachers
- Summer School Substitutes
- Summer School Learning Assistants
Come to Operation Breakthrough at 3039 Troost (West side of Toost) on one of the following days for this summer's job fair:
Thursday, February 16, 2023 -- 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 23, 2023 -- 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 25, 2023-- 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m.

SCHOOL-AGE SUMMER SESSION IS MAY 30 - JULY 28 7.5 hours (8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) shifts for Teachers, variable shifts for Assistants. Breakfast and lunch provided daily Free parking on the OB campus.
Teachers/Subs -- $25/hr. with Bachelor's Degree -- $30/hr. with Master's Degree (Degreed in Elementary or K-8 Education or Teaching Certificate)
Learning Assistants -- $15/hr. minimum (based on credentials and education)
Upon hiring, you must have the ability to attend the following training sessions:
Saturday, March 11 - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Saturday, April 22 - 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Saturday, May 20 - 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
