We are delighted that the Young Lawyers Section/LAKC is once again putting on the Skippy & Skivvies benefit for Operation Breakthrough.

Not only does this annual drive for peanut butter, diapers and underwear have a catchy name, it produces very important results for our children. Consider:

-- We serve 400 families, most of whom count on our food pantry at one time or another to help them feed their children.
-- We have 120 babies and toddlers in diapers here daily.
-- We have another 605 children between the ages of 3 and 18, who wear more than 4,000 pairs of underwear a week.
