Each year the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) works with our planning team to designate a local charity to support in conjunction with our NAFTZ Annual Conference & Exposition. With our event located in the heart of Kansas City, NAFTZ is honored to partner with Operation Breakthrough.

NAFTZ is proud to partner with Operation Breakthrough known as an organization that provides a safe, nurturing, educational, and loving environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education.

Your gifts have a significant impact. Operation Breakthrough cares each weekday for more than 750 urban Kansas City children, ages 6 weeks to age 18 who come to OB each weekday, for nutritious food, lively learning, health and dental care, therapy and TLC, while their parents work or attend school. More than 70% of families live on annual earnings of less than $12,000. About 20% are homeless. Every dollar counts. Join NAFTZ in our goal is to raise $5,000 by September 2025.

Please join us in giving back to the community! Be sure to get everyone involved in raising 5K and capture the actions you are taking in support of the cause -there will be challenges throughout the event so be sure to recruit your family/friends to run/walk/crawl or simply support the cause online.
