CECU and NACC Donation Drive

For the 2023 year, CECU and NACC have partnered with Operation Breakthrough to offer assistance and awareness to the support OB provides to the Kansas City community.

Attendees at the North American Career Education Convention will have the chance to participate in on site activities integrated within the Convention program, sponsored by Elsevier, and you can also support from home by donating here.

Donations of any denomination count to support OB to provide safe, loving and educational environments to children!

All donations from the CECU and NACC communities can be collected here. As a part of the North American Alliance, CECU and NACC will match the total number of collections made prior to the Convention!

Donation suggestions:
$15 will pay for a birth certificate that a child needs to enroll in school
$25 will buy new shoes for a child
$50 will buy formula for one baby for a month
$100 will buy a pair of eyeglasses
$150 will stock meat in the food pantry for 2 weeks
$500 will pay for a field trip for 50 children to a museum or theater performance
$1000 will cover 80 hours of individual therapy for a child suffering from abuse or neglect

Operation Breakthrough surrounds 700 of Kansas City's most vulnerable children and their families with opportunities – to learn, connect, be nurtured and prepare for success. The program runs cradle to career, helping little children become school-ready, helping school-agers stay on track and offering teens real-world experiences in digital electronics, graphic design and more. The average OB family lives on about $1,000 a month, so OB adds on-site health care, therapy, parenting classes and financial literacy. Operation Breakthrough empowers people to breakthrough to a bright future!  Thank you for your support!
