The children at Operation Breakthrough are no different. The little things that thrilled you when you were small light up their faces today. With small gifts of time or goods you can help them create happy childhood memories, too.

Electronic Funds Transfer:

To help you arrange a transfer of funds from your checking account to ours, call Eileen Marshall at (816) 329-5260. You can transfer funds for a one-time gift or pay a little each month!

Matching Gifts:

If your company has a matching gift program, you may be able to double the value of your donation. Ask you HR department for a matching gift form and mail it to us along with your check. Over 150 companies in the KC metro area have matching gift programs! Many will also match the gifts of retirees, spouses or surviving spouses.

Memorials & Honorariums:

Make a gift in memory of a loved one or honor a friend or family member on a special occasion. Just send a note along with your check with the honored one's name & address and the date & kind of occasion. We'll send them a card or letter to let them know you sent a gift in their name (amount of gift is not disclosed). Special Events:

Buy a ticket or become a sponsor for one of our annual fundraising events. Click here for a list of upcoming opportunities. We promise you'll have a good time!

Other Options:

• Stocks or Securities: Gifts of stock or marketable securities can give you a needed tax break and help us provide needed services to low-income children. Contact your stockbroker or call Eileen Marshall at (816) 329-5260 for more information.
• Bequests & Planned Giving: Become a member of our Breakthrough Tomorrow society and leave a legacy of hope for generations of children to come. Please consider making a bequest of money, securities, or property in your will or living trust.To learn how, ask your financial planner or call Jennifer Heinemann at (816) 365-5059 or email her at jenniferh(at)operationbreakthrough.org.

United Way:

As a United Way agency, your UW contributions can help us too. You can direct your funds to the Community Care general campaign or name one or more non-profits to receive your gift. For more information, contact your local United Way office.
